I really like the intensity of the light in this space. It isnt too over whelming and i like the shadows that are created. I think it would create a warm place to eat lunch because whenever i am in a space with really bright lighting i usually dont like eating there, because it kind of reminds me of a school cafeteria. It definitely creates drama in a good way because it enhances certain areas of the space which i think would be useful in a sandwich shop. This lighting feels very open and quiet, not a very energetic space, which i think is good for a space to be eating in.

I like the warmth of the light in this space, i think it is very inviting and opens it up a lot. The accent lighting that highlights the bar area and other areas would be nice to use in a sandwich shop, like where the customer orders or around seating. There seem to be multiple sources of smaller lights, rather than less sources of bigger lights. I think this makes it easier to focus the light on where you need it. If a sandwich shop was light like this i think it would be inviting and open, and i feel like this lighting makes the space look just energetic enough for a sandwich shop.

I like the use of lighting in this space because i like the mix of natural light and artificial light. I like that the farther away from the window the space is, the more artificial light there is and its more concentrates. This type of lighting would make a sandwich shop more interesting i think, because of the shadows and niches it creates. This would highlight artwork and certain things in the sandwich shop and would help direct people to important areas of the space. I think this lighting makes the space seem open and large.

I think the intensity and color that this light creates within this space is really good for a sandwich shop. I also think this type of lighting would make customers stay and talk longer in the shop and ultimately make them enjoy the experience more and make them want to come back. I dont think this type of lighting would necessarily highlight any architectural features of the space, but would direct attention to certain areas. It doesnt make the space seem very energetic but i dont think that a sandwich shop needs to really feel energetic. It makes the space seem smaller which may not be a good thing for a sandwich shop, especially if the space is already small to begin with.

This is a church in Germany that i went to. No artificial light was on at all and the space was completely lit. The clerestory windows in the dome provided a lot of light and i felt like it was an appropriate amount of light for a church space.

These giant windows really lit the space up and made me feel like it was a heavenly/ divine light shining in.

These windows made this space under the stairs a really cool little cove that people could discover and sit in. I was really amused to find these under the stairs and wasnt expecting them at all. This really went along with the theme of the whole building of light in random places and discovery of hidden things.
